Pls. evaluate my profile..Supply Chain management

Hi Stacy,

I am planning to write GMAT in Feb, and am further planning to apply to colleges in next season. I want to do an MBA in supply chain management .I have mentioned a brief of my profile below, pls. guide me on how does the prifile looks to you, what all improvements are needed & pls. also suggest me the colleges, preferably for one year MBA.

Total CGPA: 8.1 (I am a fold medalist in agricultural engg.)
Total work ex: 3.5 yrs. as on date ( i am working with a leading tractor manufacturing company as a strategic supply management specialist ).
Extra curricular: I have been awarded prizes in various interschool drama competitions. I have also organised a number of intercollege events. I have also participated in no. of dramatics & dance perfoemances.
Achievemants at work: have been awarded recognition certificates for implementing major cost reduction projects.

Dear Neha,

Your profile is incomplete, so it is hard to comment at this point. If you want to go to business school in the US or EU, then you do want to aim for a high GMAT score since you will be applying as an international applicant. Your GPA is strong and you have interesting work experience, not as common in the global MBA applicant pool, so those are positives in your profile. You do not appear to have many extracurricular activities since college, so that is an area to work on in addition to your GMAT preparation. As for schools, I encourage you to read our sticky on school selection for tips on identifying programs. Most one year options will be in the EU or Asia-Pacific region, not the US, so you might start your search there.
