1. The first para is a research exploring the mystery identified. The following para solves the riddle in the last sentence of first para; further repeats.

2. radiations contribute....discussing the role.

yup its correct
but i dont quite feel in #1 it describes the known phenomenon

I agree...

Now, which of these is phenomenon?
I) stars made up of gas and dust - known
OR
II) sequence of events that signal their birth - mystery.

However, upon analyzing it appears as though I is a phenomenon. and II) is an explanation. This leads to D.
