670 (Q50 V31)...Need advice!!

I appeared for GMAT on 6th dec and got 670. I am really confused now what to do next.
I wanted to apply to schools like NYU, Ross, Darden, Cornell, Haas. I know my score is on the lower side of the average gmat which all these schools ask but still i want to know other's opinion whether I should apply or not this year. And if possible anyone can suggest me some other school where my score could be on a bit advantageous side.

My profile:
Qualification: B.E (Electrical) from one of the top 10 institute in India.
GPA: around 3.5
Work Ex: 4.7 years in IT in one of the top most IT company in India.

I know i stand in one of the most competitive pool but I have couple of differentiators to stand out among other's.

Please advice me what to do further.

If you have the cash and time to burn, I reckon just apply, but write great essays (ha - obviously easier said than done). Are you a great story teller? Like truly? If you believe you are, write the best damn stories you can.

Beyond that, you might consider some non-US schools e.g. the AGSM or MBS in Australia. Both excellent schools in their own right (McKinsey, BCG and Bain recruit from these two schools)
