Help using GMATPrep Software

by doudou » Sun Jan 13, 2008 7:29 pm
I just did my first practice test on the GMATPrep software. The test score came back 710, I was very pleasantly surprised. But when I reviewed my incorrect answers, the incorrect are 9/37 Q and 14/41 V. That can't be right, right? But I can seem to go back and see my scores again.
After I reviewed the questions, and pressed end exam, it seems my practice is unfinished, how do you get to say completed?

Thanks

With regard to your scores, it's possible to get great scores on the GMAT even when getting several questions wrong on each section. There's been a lot of posts on this topic, I advise you to dig into some of the older posts!

Thanks Eric, but there is no way to see my score again on the practice test. Did anyone else come across this?

Unfortunately you can't do that, that's just one of the quirks of the GMATPrep software.

Please look for some of the old posts discussing scoring. You will get lots of questions wrong, no matter how good you get - this is just the way the test works. It is NOT scored simply based upon the percentage correct - nobody gets everything, or even almost everything, right. Because everybody is seeing different questions, the main factor in your score is the difficulty level of the questions you "earn the right" to answer.
