....scored 710 (V40, Q47). I was consistently scoring around 750 in all GMATPrep and MGMAT CATs. So I was disappointed with my score of 710.
In my first attempt 2 years ago, I scored 660 (V36, Q45). My first attempt was very poorly planned. Believe it or not, I did not even use any of the OG for my preparation and needless to say faired poorly.
This time around, I used all 3 OG guides and MGMAT SC guide. The SC guide is a must have for any serious GMAT taker. And ofcourse this site is a great help!
But I have 2 main question that I would like your input on:
1. I test date was 10/22/2010. Midway thru the Verbal section, my machine just rebooted without any warning! It just restarted as if someone had remotely triggered the reset button. And ofcourse I freaked out thinking the timer is going to keep running while the system restarts. But fortunately, once the proctor logged me back in, the test resumed from the same spot it had left off and the timer had actually stopped and resume from where it had stopped.
But, its the 3rd today and I still havent received my AWA scores yet! I have never seen that happen with anyone else. When I took it the last time, I got my AWA score and my official score report on the 5th day. I know GMAC's official policy says it might take up to 20 days but because of the above incident, I am a little worried.
2. But more importantly, my 2nd question - should I retake the test a 3rd time to improve my score. I want to get in to one of the top 10 programs (US or International). What would you guys recommend. I would love to hear your opinion.
Thanks for reading my post and I wish all you guys good luck with your test.
