Below is a link to an excellent article by Clear Admit about the importance of extracurricular volunteer activities to the b-school application process - and how to best leverage such experiences.

Has anyone read a similarly informative article recently?

FYI: I just read a great article by MBA Mission titled, "Long-Term Planning for Your MBA." In it they discuss how you can incorporate volunteerism / community leadership into your one-year application plan.

Here is a link to an excellent article by Stacy Blackman titled, "Why you should feature community service in your application essays." It outlines three strong reasons why pre-MBAs should get involved in community service. It also provides a sample essay that illustrates how such experiences can be leveraged in the application process.
