Hi Stacy, Amy et al,
I have a profile typical to an IIM (Indian IT Male). On my previous post, I was asked to work on polishing my profile on my leadership abilities (especially on the volunteering stuff)

While I am polishing my profile on that front, I am writing my GMAT on the 10th of Jan wherein I expect a score of around 700. As I got to know that I needa submit 5 colleges' names to send in my scores, can you suggest a couple of them (US and non-US) wherein I may expect a fair chance of entry. Although I am keen in getting into any of the top colleges (where i am ready to take up any field of study) I prefer an MBA in Risk analysis and strategy mgmt. But I guess there is no such specialization. Since finance is not my interest, I guess I will be a good suit for consulting or general mgmt.
With a brief research on the basis of % acceptance (including Asians %) and post MBA prospects, I narrowed down on the following:
* Cornell
* Chicago - higher intake of Asians (as with Cornell too)
* Pennsylvania (Wharton) - again higher intake of Asians
* 2 of Said, Oxford/IMD, switzerland/Cambridge (Judge)/Queens, Canada/ESADE or IESE, spain ?? I think Said & IMD.
Other considerations
* Manchester - good for general mgmt + good intake of asians
* Insead - not very high intake of Asians but good for general mgmt
* Queens - very high intake of Asians but i guess there are better options in non-US category
* Berkeley, CA
* Texas-Austin (McCombs)
Pl. suggest me what are your 5 choices of these or do you have any other to be included in the list.
Depending on my score, I am planning to append 5 more colleges to this list.
Any help/suggestion will be of great help.
Thanks.
