// How to proceed

by BBJ » Sat Jan 05, 2008 4:24 pm
I just realized that my application deadline to enroll within fall 2008, is 1st of June!
I was going to take my GMAT exam end of January, but since i have more time, I decided to proceed with the examination sometime during March.

The admission's just informed me recently, the people who got accepted scored an average of 570 on their GMAT exam. My aim now is to score 600+.

I know some of you may think that's pretty low but to be honest i'm not a smart girl, so that's my challenge i guess.

Advice needed: I'm planning on ordering the best book that would really be helpful and help me reach my goal!
I've heard OG 11th edition is really good, as some of the question's are identical to the one's on the GMAT exam.

What do you think I should do? :)

Welcome to the forum :D

Yes you are correct. OG is a definite buy. You also get two prep tests for free from mba.com. You could take one when you start prep and the other towards the end of the prep. There are many books and courses available in the market. But I would suggest you start with OG and use the resources in https://www.beatthegmat.com/resources.html. This is free and many of the forum visitors have used them for great results. If you have any specific questions, the members on this forum would be glad to help. Wish you good luck.
