I have been already thrashed for questioning over some confusions....
so i wont be writing any thing on that

Even this week i didnt win a single prize though i had 119 points ,may be i was at 10 or 11th position.....well it is said that higher the points higher the probability of winning......if it is the case then may be my number most be in some expection list(which the algorithm strongly dislikes...lol...just kidding) considering the people who have less than half my score have won many top prizes...lol...

paradox (May be need a gmat critical reasoning ...lol)
9/14 top prize winners has score less than 100 (there were more than 41 users with 100+ score).

I think the guys who won prize earlier are not eligible for same prize...which leaves many of us to 14 prizes only(personally feel somewhat ..... with this award logic...) and still in that, lower scorers got better out of high scorers...
bad luck ....lol

Seems like algorithm with AI.

1 more round to go ...will be still hoping...

Not a complain ....just my observation.....i am abiding by all the rules....

thanks

frank - everyone can see your inference very clearly - you feel like you've been cheated. In week 2, you were only eligible for 14 prizes (as opposed to 159 prizes the first week - of which you won 2). It's not at all unbelievable that you didn't win another prize - the odds are against you winning... so why do you feel cheated?

frank - you're comments regarding this game since the start have been classless.

i have no doubt over greatness of the games....i bow for it....thanks for it....beatthegmat.......Thanks for such an splendid effort.Greatness of the site that it is giving away so many things. and i am not putting any allegation that i have been cheated.

It just notice:"ok i didnt win with that points also so i must have been unlucky" as rules says higher the point more chance...
nothing more than that....

well i never said it is unbelieveable and i should win ...
i said it is just my personal observation ...
I believe it is so and you believe it is not
there is no problem in such disagreements....there is no reason it should be same...

I think you are taking gmat soon ....
You infered that i infered something ....which is out of scope
You carried out a illogical comparision ...
you made a personal attack rather than going if there can be any logic...
and some more...

Even if you are right, being a programmer i personally feel the logic may not have been correct...people who score very high were eligible for 14 prizes (and paradoxically top prizes were also won by low scorers ...which seems to be totally not as per rules/principles of the game "higher the scores higher the chances..."..)
It is not case that i have not won ....if some other person with high score have won it i would have feel it more logical...
Still i am not blaming or putting allegation ...just my observation....if you infer many things yourself what can i do ...

any way i dont just type for nothing...i have observed many logical and technical bugs during this game........(it is not necessary that how much i have known/felt, you know all of them...so may be you are saying its "classless".I have no complaints as game is benefitting for large numbers of people and the cause is noble...i should not be bothered about it...(so i have not posted any so called BUGS anywhere either...)
for eg,latest one ...i have 2 likes left for the day...i dont have single post to like....

Well, still these are not my allegation .....as i have put lots of effort to play this game....may be this is kind of disappointment....and after lots of effort if we fail ...i think i have right to be disappointed...

i have no doubt over greatness of the games....i bow for it....thanks for it....beatthegmat.......Thanks for such an splendid effort
unlike many people who have registered(oppurtunist) just for the game and may be will forget this site after game is over,i have been here from long time, learned many things from here....respect it and will be here no matter what the result of the contest may be....
so having said that as it is said to be game ...i think it is part of game that when things are not clear...contestent raise their concern ...should not be taken as a strange phenomenen....

I stand by my post - you've implied more than once that you were cheated. You even previously suggested that the game favors Indians. You're free to imply and connote your allegations just like I am free to express and denote my opinion on your posts.

well Mr Tim, i am not trying to change you either ...or saying your version is wrong....
i totally respect it.

You are free to express you version of logic but you should not put Your Opinion as FACTS(it may misguide others)
1.I am not blaming or putting allegations on any one(It effects me ...so i should defend...no problem if you think so...)
2.I havenot said it favors indians....i said in first draw there were lots of indians....(i also said may be it was also because there are more numbers of indians playing...)

So lets not wage words war here i already have lost many things for nothing..lol.....i have different evidence, experience, feeling on the ground of which i have written my experience(not allegation)....you stand on another ground(may not have all eveidences,experience...) so you are forwarding your version of arguement...i totally respect it.

For eg,One reason your second week score was higher than mine was may be because my 1st week score was greater than yours(Now infer HOW...)....at the end of the week players have priviledge to like post in either week(as their wish...) This may be not good for overall high scorers....(How----Infer...there are numerous examples in players list...)
I have not said it is wrong.(dont say it is an allegation...)

Thanks.

@Frank, I'm sorry that you are disappointed by the results of the game. I'm not sure why you think that our game is either cheating you out of prizes or is penalizing you unfairly. But as I have said multiple times already, our server picks winners based on a completely random algorithm. In fact, I explained the algorithm in great detail to you earlier.

You shouldn't be surprised that someone with lower points won a prize. It's possible (although highly unlikely) that a player with only 1 point can even win the Grand Prize.

thanks for noticing it...
I didnt say game cheated me...

From what i have learned so far in algorithm and programming when we say "higher the points higher the numbers of winners" and out of 14 top prizes 9 were low scores. So i was thinking about that alorithm...
Persoanally if i were programming i would seriously look into that algorithm once again(is something wrong somwhere?) as it is not producing the desired results or result as per rules...(high points...greater chance...)
Now i feel why i was running after each single points then....lol..?

Personally i was more disaapointed when i came to know we were just running for 14 awards in second week with same or more effort in second week as well.(could this have been made better?...)

plus please grant me when i say it may be human tendency as well ...when you put lots of efforts and result is 0 ,it is natural that one gets disappointed....my facebook wall is full posts(no complains) and my inbox is filled with message...."when are you taking gmat?" and result was 0(ok part of the game...) so natural to be disappointed....

Plus as said earlier there were few bugs(strange situation)....so may be that made me type these as well...
Please dont take it otherwise....

thanks for such a great effort....good for many others...so very happy about it...

This is the BTG 100k challenge equivalent to the flop in soccer (football for the non-Americans). For the Americans, I'll translate into our sports. Football - when the punter falls to the ground and writhes in pain (sometimes clutching his leg) when a leaping defender grazes him after a kick. Basketball - when a defender viciously throws himself to the ground as the opposing player drives to the hoop and makes contact. Baseball - when Jeter fakes being beamed by a pitch that never touches him in order to get on base... you get the idea.

@frank1, I just updated your post to remove an inappropriate comment. While I appreciate all of our members' input, I'm getting quite tired of your complaints. Please temper your comments.
