i have troubles in finding right pattern of || words. in above example how to discern is it
-apples and oranges, or it is list of- i mean
apples oranges and lemons

In this case don't see for the ||ism, see meaning.

D says 'the only thing that has to be done' and it lists 3 things, how absurd.

C says 'all one has to do', means 'one person has to do' all actions.

and
