Is 300 a factor of Q?

(1) 250 is a multiple of Q.

(2) 250 is a factor of Q

(1) 250 is a multiple of 5, 10, 25, 50, 125. So, clearly 300 cannot be a factor of any of these values of Q.
Hence, (1) is SUFFICIENT.

(2) 250 is a factor of 250, 500, 750, 250*300 and so on.
Again we see that 300 may or may not be a factor of any values of Q.
Hence, (2) is NOT SUFFICIENT.

I think answer is A.

2) 250 is a factor of 250, 500, 750 and so on and 300 is not.
but 250 and 300 are factors of (250*300), (2*250*300) and so on

so, 2) is not sufficient.
