A multiple choice test consists of 10 questions. Each question has 5 answer choices. In how many different ways can the test be completed if all the questions are answered?

1.50
2.500
3 5 to the 10th power
4.10 to the fifth power
5.5000

IMO C

first q can be answered in 5 ways.
2nd in 5 ways.
.
.
.
10th in 5 ways.

Total = 5*5*... 10 times

IMO : C too

For each question, we are asked to pick 1 answer choice among 5.

Then No. of picking answer choice in each question is : 5P1 = 5

There're distinctive 10 questions, then the total no. of ways is : 5^10.
