Strong Technical Background in Electronics and Comm. Engineering.
Working as a patent consultant with a data research and analytics firm. Working in the field of Intellectual Property.
Present role is project manager. Handling team of 6 people. Work is related to new inventions, patent filing and technology assessment (Non-IT profile). Daily interaction with clients from US, Europe, China and Japan. Clients are majorly inventors, R&D heads and attorneys.

Decent extra acads in sports.
Medal winner in athletics
Technical Secretary of College
Organized a range of events
Working for an NGO

Please let me know the colleges where I have good chance of getting through (Both US and outside US). I am majorly focusing towards US Bschools.

Hi,

Thanks for your post. Given the information you've shared, I think you should look into top 20 programs. However, you will want to define your post MBA career goals as this will help you as you research programs. You should seek out programs that are a good fit not just with your career goals, but also with your personal interests. Think about the 2 year experience you wish to have. Do you want to live in a big city or small town? Do you want 800+ classmates or something much smaller?

Lastly, in order to put together successful applications you should find ways to distinguish yourself from other applicants in the pool. Think about your essays and how you can utilize those to stand out in the crowd.
