Dear violet81,

If your goal is to enter a PharmD or PhD in pharmacy administration program, then I am not sure how the MBA fits into that plan. For many PhD programs, you do not need a master's degree to enter as you will earn one while in the program. If you are using a master's degree as a way to mitigate your undergraduate GPA, then I'm not sure that will be the solution you think it is either. It could be, but I think you need to do some additional research before you spend resources (time and money) on master's programs if you do not need to go down that road. If I were you, I would contact a few of the PhD programs I was considering and inquire on prerequisites. I would also ask about my GPA and if a strong GRE will help mitigate it.

Thank you so much for your quick reply. I am trying to apply for PhD not pharmd in pharmacy administration. I actually tried to apply last year and got a very rude email from the department asking me to improve my GPA.
