Confirmation of GMAT format ..

Confirmation of GMAT format ..

According to the OG books ... the first hour comprises of the AWA section, then 5 min break, then Quant for 75 mins, 5 min break, and then Verbal for final 75 mins.

Is this how the GMAT is structured ? So the first thing you have to do is write the 2 essays as part of the AWA section ?

Yes, this is the correct order of sections for the GMAT. I've heard varying reports about how long the breaks are, between 5-10 minutes each. When I took the test they were 5 minutes each.

The breaks used to be 5 min - they are now 10 min.
