Hello,

With over seven years of professional experience, should my Professional Experience or Education come first in my Resume? In my Education part, I have a 4.0 GPA for my Masters from US and a top-of-class rank for my UG degree from India.

Which is the most recent? Your job or your masters? I believe the most recent comes first.

I agree with money9111 that what comes first on your resume is usually your most recent professional or academic endeavor. If you recently graduated from your graduate program (i.e. within less than a year), you can put your education at the top and let your Master's degree be the highlight of your educational experience and the spearhead of your resume overall. If you are just using this version of your resume to apply to b-schools, that should work well, unless they have a preferred format that they specify. Keep in mind that if you're job seeking and your recently granted degree does not relate to jobs that you're focusing on, but your prior experience does, then you might consider putting your work experience first. This will likely be another version (or versions) of your resume that you have especially for applying to jobs. While the above are fundamental best practices for the resume, much depends on the unique combination of experience/education you bring and how you actually highlight these things through your resume formatting.
