TOefl-112
Undergrad-4.0
Work ex- 3years with oil and gas major with project management experience
extra curriculars are moderate

My target schools are Kellogg, Duke, Darden, Cornell, Ross, Mccombs, Yale

I want to pursue my career in energy consulting without shifting my industry segment.

Dear Sayantan,

As an international student, you will be up against some fierce competition at the schools you note. Your GMAT score is a bit low relative to other international applicants at those programs. However, your industry experience might help to set you apart as it is not in IT. Aside from raising your GMAT to the 700+ range, I think you should keep some of the schools on your current list and look at adding some schools where your chances are a bit better (i.e., GMAT averages below 680).

Good luck,
Lisa
