If a,b and c are integers, is c even?
1)a/b is an odd integer
2) (b/c)+a is an even integer

here got E
1) insuff as c is not mentioned
2) also insuff as different options are possible
a=b=c=1
b/c+a=1/1+1=1+1=2-even and c-odd
b=2,c=2,a=1
b/c+a=2/2+1=1+1=2-even and c=even

both
we can repeat the example a=b=c=1. c-odd
a=20, b=4,c=2
a/b=20/4=5-odd
4/2+20=2+20=22-even here c-even
even both insufficient

One more for E.
Being defeated is often only a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent.
