First GMATprep test 690, 48Q 35V

Hi, I just took my first practice test after studying for a couple of weeks. I was so concerned with not finishing in time that I actually had about 15 minutes left at the end of both sections. I'm quite pleased with my score since I was only hoping to break 600. I'm taking the test on Jan. 5th. With my surprisingly high score, I'm aiming higher now so how likely is it for me to break 700? Because I'm still convinced my score of 690 is an overestimation of how I'm going to do.

GMATPrep is the most accurate indicator of your actual GMAT performance. That being said, it by no means will predict exactly how well you will perform on the real test.

A 690 is a really impressive score and certainly puts you in range to break a 700. I'm really surprised by how quickly you went through each section--probably the best thing you can do to improve your score is to simply slow down and make sure you're not making any careless errors. Finishing with that much time on each section is not good in general, since you could otherwise be using the extra time to check your work.

I would take another GMATPrep test to see whether you get a similar score--if so, then I'd say you're in great shape to hit your goal!
