Gave GMAT today - scored 640..

Hi Experts..
Haven't brought anything new to the threads here.. As the subject says, I managed to get 640 (i guess I'm not overly disappointed, considering that I prepared for just a couple of months..). I do have 5 years of exp in IT consulting(with international experience varied across geographies..) till date and I'm planning to apply after another year which makes it a total of 6yrs of exp in total.

Coming to my academic background, I have a dual degree in Bachelors of Engineering (Mechanical) and a Master of Science (Economics) from a reputed college in India.

Haven't thought about retaking the exam yet..

I'm quite flexible to apply to any good bschool anywhere. Which bschools would you think can I apply with my GMAT score and the profile I have briefed.. Would you think I do have chance to get through some good bschools? Any advice, suggestions much appreciated... Thank You..

It's great that you are open to applying to a range of schools.

One such school you should NOT miss out on is Babson College (They are the #1 MBA program for Entrepreneurship according to Entrepreneur Magazine).

One easy way for you to figure out your perfect list of schools is to learn about the 2nd tier schools here in the Business Week rankings: https://www.businessweek.com/bschools/rankings/

That way, you can see which schools match your GMAT profile and which schools match your particular interests and preferences.

Those are some "very hrmm" Business Week Rankings especially on the "Top Ranked Non-US"

I'm Canadian, but I dont understand how Queens would be #1.

Putting it ahead of Richard Ivey (Western) is a stretch to begin with, but to place LBS #5 is sketchy.

I got 640 on my GMAT also so Im interested in my choices he/she thinks would fit

Did your research yield any choices? I was looking for NUS Singapore and HKUST... Do you reckon that this score may play it on the wrong side?
