Profile Evaluation Requested

My details are as follows.

Personal: Female/24 Years

Undegraduate: BTech, IGovt Engg College Trichur(one of the best institute in Kerala)

GMAT: 700/5.5

Professional: Strong Experience in Analytics and Business Strategy for 2 years 8 months . Worked in Big Brand like Infosys Technologies Ltd and strong experience in problem solving and strategical decision making.

Goals - long-term goal is to start my own consulting firm in India as there is a dearth of consulting firms here.
My short term goal is to join a professional team of business analysts in a consulting firm. This role would give me the opportunity to leverage the skills gained from the business school including strategy and innovation and the chance to gain the acumen into pragmatic problem solving. By working together with a team of highly qualified ppl will give me the edge to achieve my long term goal.

Extra Curriculars: Good- Vice president PR of toastmaster club, Gr8 experience in community work
Hobby - Swimming

Right now I am targeting the following schools

Emory
Darden
Tepper
Duke fuqua
Kellogg
ISB Hyderabad

Hi,

Thanks for your post. Given the information you shared, I think it is fair to say that you can be competitive for admission at the schools on your list. However, I do think it's important to point out that you will need to find a way to distinguish your application from the others in the pool. Given the high number of applicants to the schools on your list, many may have a similar profile, background and experience. I suggest striking a balance in your essays between professional and other, more personal examples such as those from an extracurricular activity. This is a great way to stand out in the pool while distinguishing yourself from the others.
