command subjunctive - request

"Request" is supposed to be used with 'that' in the form of a command subjunctive.

Can't we use request along with infinitive

I request you to ask to ask him out.

What is wrong with the above sentence. Is this not acceptable in GMAT?

I request you to ask him out. - I do not know if this is acceptable in GMAT or not. Perhaps an expert may answer.

But, between -
1) I request you to ask him out.
2) I request that you ask him out.

I'll always choose 2.

Hi all!

Hopes, proposals, desires, and requests are followed by "that" in subjunctive mood in GMAT.
For example:
The tax office requires that the entrepreneurs be ready for control.
