1

From 1 x = 0

Putting this in 1 x = -1/3 which is less that 0

From 2 x cud be less than 2 or greater than -2 Hence x > 0 or x < 0 Insufficient

Hence A should suffice

2

From 1 f - l = 25 Insufficient

From 2 two more booths between f and l Hence one pair has to be less than 10 ..25/4 < 10

Hence sufficient

On 2 is it just fair to assume for these questions toll booths are usually evenly spaced out?

That makes it so much easier : ) Thx again!

on Q2 :

in 25 miles u can only have 3 booths spaced out 10 miles apart. since you have 4 booths , on pair had to be in the < 10 mile proximity.
