Not great, but good enough - 600 (Q32 V40)

Well, there's really not much to say. Because of summer classes I didn't have much time to spend preparing until about a week ago. I knew math was my weakness so that's all I studied this past week and a half (took a week of vacation). I didn't even open any of my verbal books. The only practice exam I took was last night and I scored a 550 (Q28 V?). I stayed up until around 1:00am going over the math problems I missed but didn't have time to figure all of them out. Showed up at 8:00am this morning at the test center and gave it my best shot.

My school only requires a 490 so I'm not worried about it. I'm actually surprised I scored that high. Makes me think that if I had spent another month studying I could easily get to 700.

But yeah, I don't recommend anyone taking my approach. lol ;)

If your school only requires a 490 and you ended up with a 550, I'd say that's pretty good. If you achieved a 700 and you applied to a school that only required a 490, that might send up some red flags to the adcom.

40 is a good raw V score.
