Hi,
I am new to this forum & did not get a chance to go through all the previous posts. I am planning to give my GMAT exam on 8th May this year. On my previous attempt I score 640 & I am not sure its a good enough score to apply to the top tier schools. I know that just the score does not influence my application, but I realised that my profile will have a chance with a good GMAT score. I hope to do well atleast this time (crossin my fingers
)
Let me introduce myself. I have over 9 years of IT experience & have worked in projects for some renound global 500 companies (GEPS, Coke, MARS, NYSE to name a few). I am currently working as a project manager.
My decision to get back to school is purely based on career growth. I am starting to realise that I need that additional qualification to grow up the corporate ladder.
Since my experience has been predominently in the IT industry, what area of specialization should I be choosing & what schools should I be opting for? I am basically from India & so one of my options is ISB.
Please help me fine-tune my thoughts on deciding which schools to apply for & what area of specialization I should be opting.
Appreciate your responses.
