First feel of the GMAT - GMATPrep 570 Q34 V35

by mleviko » Tue Dec 04, 2007 10:42 am
Ok, after reading lots and lots of information, mainly on this site, I decided to pass the first GMATPrep test, before any real studying of GMAT material.
My impressions were :

- My Q skills are my weakest link, and I should focus mainly on this. The last time I resolved a math problem was in highschool, about 7 years ago, and it shows. Weak spots : geo, fractions, and everything in DS.

- Errors in the V part occured mainly due to lack of concentration. English is not my mother tongue and I found myself sometimes losing focus while reading long, complicated sentances. Weaks spots: SC

- I finished the Q section 10 minutes ahead of time, and the V section almost 30 minutes ahead of time. This shows that I acted more on impulse than on real reflection. Must be changed.

All in all I'm highly motivated to begin the real learning. My goal is to reach 710 in the real GMAT . The journey will be long but I can do it.

Wish me luck! 8)
