Sum of n consecutive positive integers is 45.What is the value of n?
I. n is even
II. n < 9

From Stmt 1: as n is given as even. This is insufficient. Because a+a+1=45 shall give 22,23
And a+a+1+a+2+a+3+a+4+a+5=45 shall give 5,6,7,8,9,10

In both cases n is even so ,single value of n can not be determined

From Stmt2: n< 9 still multilple values of n are possible.AS shown in Stmt I.
Combining I and II for n<9 and n even there are multiple values. So OptionE shall be the answer.
