x = 100, y = 4, z = 1; x > y > z
so, 100 > 16 > 1

x = .5, y = .7, z = .8; z > y > x
so, .5 > .49 > .4

x = 1, y = .7, z = .8; x > z > y
so 1 > .49 > .4
