Help, GMAT soon...Princeton Review and GMATPREP

by apu » Thu Nov 29, 2007 11:25 am
Okay...so I have been studying for the exam using the princeton review tests online and have been doing pretty okay...in the 600s....but i started the Gmatprep cd yesterday and then paused it during the math section...I still have to finish it but the expression I got was the math section was much harder than the math in PR...is that possible?
What do other users think about this?

I am taking the exam in a couple of days and this made me a little nervous, cause obviously the gmat prep is pretty close to the real gmat exam!

It has been stated on these forums many times - the PR CATs contain fairly easy Quant questions. It is not surprising that the GMATPrep questions seem hard in comparison. Also, I believe the PR CAT has a much slower difficulty progression in their algorithm compared to the GMATPrep. This means you would see questions that are hard for you much faster in GMATPrep.

Have you been practicing with the OG books or purely PR materials?

Thanks for your comments, I have only been practicing PR questions.
But, you have mentioned that your GMATPrep score was higher than your PR score...is that a pretty accurate understanding/assumption?

Thanks Again.
