720 (V- 42, Q - 45) - Thanks for your help

by Glassell » Wed Aug 04, 2010 4:26 pm
Hi, I lurked here for a few days while preparing for my GMAT, and you guys helped me out with some harder math and tricky verbal questions. I never posted until now, but I want to thank you for your help.

I don't know if 720 qualifies as "Beating the GMAT", but I'm happy with the score, so I don't plan on redoing it.

great score! Can you talk about how you prepared for Quant and Verbal and what books you used?

Thanks.

I used the Princeton Review's Cracking the GMAT and Kaplan Advanced. I read every word and did every problem, and the experience helped.

I also took the two practice tests offered by GMAC through their software and did a few practice problems. I also read the boards on here for examples of harder questions I anticipated seeing on the exam.
