st 1 : d< 0.25

what is the value of d, rounded to the nearest tenth?

d=0.2h6

If h =5, then d, rounded to the nearest tenth will be 0.3 which is greater than 0.25. SO h is less than 5

If h= 4 ,then d, rounded to the nearest tenth will be 0.2 which is less than 0.25.

SO value of d ,rounded to the nearest tenth will be 0.2

St 2 :
h<5
Its clear from previous discussion, h has to be less than 5 for value of d ,rounded to the nearest tenth will be 0.2

Pick D

0.246 rounded to nearest tenth is 0.2

0.246 rounded to nearest hundredth is 0.25

0.25 rounded to nearest tenth is 0.3
