Scoring?

On the day of the test, do you receive your score minus the essays when you check out? Or do you have to wait the 2-3 weeks for the complete score?

Correct. You get the total GMAT score out of 800 and your raw score for the verbal and math sections immediately after finishing the test. They will print out an unofficial score report for you as you leave.

The AWAs take a few weeks to process and they will come in the mail after 2-3 weeks.
