Query on 700-800 RCs

by ballubalraj » Tue Jul 13, 2010 12:51 am
Hello All,

I practiced all of the RC passages from the 700-800 RC series. Recently I took MGMT CAT tests 1 and 2, and I found that all the RCs (in both the tests) were from 700-800 RC document.

Does anyone else has faced this issue? Is 700-800 document a compilation of all MGMAT CAT test questions?

The issue is that I have already done all the RCs and now while giving online tests, my score is getting screwed up.

Good that I did not do 700-800 CR and SC yet.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Balraj.

The Only thing you do to solve this -- try to utilize the same time as you take to solve a new RC. I mean even if you know the answers... let some time skip away. This way atleast your final scores in MGMAT wont be affected.

In that case, just complete the tests and evaluate your performance in SC,CR and Quantitative sections. Don't worry about score getting inflated, just try to learn the concepts out of your mistakes in other sections. Since, MGMAT is trusted source so you can learn a lot from their tests and forums where these problems are discussed in depth.

As far as timing the test is concerned, I feel MGMAT is of no worth to you. Buy Kaplan online tests and practice.
