The functions f and g are defined by f (x) = |2 x + 1| and g (x) = 3 for all numbers x. What is the least value of c for which f (c) = g (c)?
(A) 1
(B) 0
(C) -1
(D) -2
(E) -3

f(x)=|2x+1|

g(X)=3

f(c)=|2c+1|

g(c)=3

|2c+1|=3

2c+1=3 or 2c+1=-3

c=1 or c=-2

Least value of c is -2
