I was reading a reputed newspaper article and found following sentence:
SOME discoveries are so unusual it takes years, decades and sometimes centuries to understand their full significance.
I just wanted to know what you think about the correctness of this sentence.
In my opinion the correct version should be as follows:
SOME discoveries are so unusual THAT it takes years, decades and sometimes centuries to understand their full significance.
