One book for all Q and V content

by nathanalgren » Tue Jun 29, 2010 5:00 am
Are there any books that cover all of the content of Quantitative and Verbal parts of GMAT? It does not have to be detailed or intense. And it does not have to contain practice questions. I just need to study content from them. Something like summary, pointing out the important parts of each section etc.

1. GMAT for Dummies

2. McGraw-Hill's GMAT, 2011 Edition

3. Kaplan has loads of content with varying degrees of content - go through it and see which ones suit you here.

I realize that you may not want to spend the time to go through a couple books, but I think it might be better to do things well the first time rather than having to go back and fix things later. That said, I think that you may be better off buy a collection of books (like the Manhattan series) that discuss each part of the test in some detail.

Yeah the MGMAT set of 8 guides, 4th edition is, by general consensus, your best bet. If you can get past the one book thing and the price ofcourse.
