Dear edmba,

How competitive you will be for a top 15 school will greatly depend on your GMAT score, the quality of your essays, your recommendations, and your interview. I think that there are some positives in your profile and business school is in your future; it is a question of where the right fit is for you. If you can score in the mid-50% range for the schools you are considering, then I think you have a chance with a stellar application package. Don't overlook the impact a great set of essays and a good interview can have--not to mention some outstanding recommendations--on an admissions decision. All of the admissions components are critical and can affect the outcome.

Best of luck,
Lisa
