Chances at NYU Langone p/t MBA

Hello,

I was wondering if you could provide feedback on my chances at NYU's pt MBA program

28yr old / white / male
GMAT: 650
GPA: 3.7 (Summa Cum Laude / Honors Program / top 25 businss program ranked by US News)
Experience: 5 years. CPA/CFE. Working as a forensic accountant (consultant). Engagements include a number of high profile bankruptcy cases and Ponzi schemes.
EC: teach economics at local high school

Not sure what other information to provide, but based on the above do you have an opinion?

Dear LEmeY,

I think you do have a shot at the Langone Program with a quality application package. Your profile is competitive, so now it comes down to how well you present yourself in your essays, resume and interview. Your work experience is certainly interesting and timely, so that would make for an interesting perspective in class--use that to your advantage in a subtle way. Finally, be sure to present a solid rationale for why you want an MBA and why the Langone Program is the best fit for you--that is a critical piece of the application.
