MGMAT - How important/necessary are the Advanced Topics?

Hi all,

I've just finished going through the General sections of the MGMAT strategy guides... but I've skipped over the Advanced topics for the time being. Considering how it took me nearly 8 weeks to finish the General sections, should I bother trying to go through the readings and In Action's for the Advanced Topics in each of the guides? How necessary is the material, and how much focus should I place on these sections? My goal is 700+ on the GMAT.

Thanks!

Yes, you should read the advanced sections and go through the problems at the end of the chapters as well.

I agree. You should read through the advanced sections (at least in quant). There is a lot of VERY useful stuff in there.
