I think it makes sense to take the GMAT about one month after finishing your MGMAT course. I don't think you'll necessarily lose any information by taking the GMAT in March, but I think that it always helps to take the test while the info is still fresh.Anonymous wrote:So I'm in a MGMAT online session that ends early January.
I've signed up for my GMAT on March 8. I talked to my friend and he said that's too big of a gap and I should reschedule it to an earlier date. He said to Late Jan or early Feb so I don't start to lose any of what I've learned from my course.
Does anybody agree with this? I plan on studying maybe 4-6 hrs a week after the course is over. Can I just take the test in Feb with that much studying? Or should I stick to Mar 8 (hopefully I don't forget content or techniques learned).
How much does it cost to reschedule?
If you want to stick to your March date, I would think about doing some practice problems and making/reviewing flashcards to make sure you retain your learning.
Best of luck!
