Regardless of their form or function, all aerodynamically enhanced, curved objects made for throwing have been called boomerangs by non-Australians even since 1788, when Europeans saw Dharug-speaking men tossing "bumariny" in the area later known as Sydney.

The first signal is to see whether the statement has any issues. In my opinion, the statement seems to be ok as is.

Again IMO, the two things this question is testing are the appropriate use of Modifiers , Subj -Verb and /or Pronouns.
The when that came immediately came after the comma modified some time aspect ( year, period, era etc) and "their" " all" and "have" go together.

So I'll take A to the bank. What is the OA?

best way is compare the options with A and look for changes done and eliminate incorrect ones
B)their plural refers to object a singular noun incorrect
c) D) and E all are wrong {look the end part of the s/c its incorrect}\
left with A
