I don't know what to do. I said once I got 20 points above my goal score on a fresh CAT with no repeats then I would schedule my real exam, and I did that today, but I have yet to go through all of my materials (I said I wanted to go through all of my materials as well before I took the real thing). I still have to go through the Veritas Advanced Word Problems guide and the second half of the Veritas Statistics and problem solving guide. If I'm scoring in my range, should I just schedule the test anyway, and get through the materials if I can, or should I wait until I get through everything since applications aren't due until October?

I am no expert
but this is what i would do if i was in ur plc

Since i would not wanna regret not doing something later, i would finish all that i planned for and then go ahead and give the test, aslo added to it there is enough time.
It would be diff if ur running out of time.

But i guess it all depends on the confidence level. If u feel sure abt the score than go ahead n give the test.

Good luck :)

You should at least look at what test dates are available. Sometimes the best testing times fill up fast- especially from mid-August tell December. Are those the only two books you have left? You want to make sure that you peak at about the right time- that is, make sure that your still are doing a lot of work up until around the time you take the test so that way you still have all the stamina that you'll need. So, first look at the times that are available, and then think about how much time you'll need to be able to consistently score above your target score (four tests in a row is a good indicator that you're ready)
