Galileo's theory that ours was indeed a solar system, in which Earth and the other planets revolve around the sun, reinforced those of the copernicus.
a.ours was indeed a solar system, in which Earth and the other planets revolve around the sun, reinforced those of the copernicus.
b.ours was indeed a solar system, in which Earth and the other planets revolve around the sun, reinforced that of the copernicus.
c.our solar system was indeed a solar for Earth and the other planets revolve around the sun, reinforced copernicus'.
d.ours was indeed a solar, in which Earth and the other planets revolved around the sun, reinforced those of the copernicus.
e.Earth and the other planets revolve around the sun in our solar system reinforces that of copernicus
OA is 'B' ..But i am not sure why 'E is wrong.. "Ours" in 'B isn't a dangling modifiers....which one it refers to???
i agree with question asker

in B problem i see...

gallileo reinforcing the theory of copernicous still applies....and past tensed doesnt make sense there

If we use past tense,it suggest that ,it was reinforced in the past but is no more valid.....

so E is not bad ,tense-wise

"Ours" in this context is the possessive pronoun; that is to say, it's the equivalent of "mine" and "yours." In (B), 'ours' replaces the noun 'our system,' and the equivalent but redundant sentence is "Gallileo's theory that our system was indeed a solar system...."
