I'm 24 female from an underrepresented country. I've done my MBA in banking and finance (GPA 3.0, a one year degree), and my BSC Finance and Economics (3 year degree, 3.51). My gmat is 730, and I have a two year work experience as a portfolio manager. I was promoted from assistant manager to manager in just 6 months, and I'm the only female manager in my city (quite a large city). I have very good leadership qualities, i lead men older than me (8 of them), and I've hardly had any problems handling them. my recommendations from my bosses are excellent. There were very few formal volunteer activities at our university, but on the personal front, I did put 9 poor children through school with the help of my university scholarship. What chances do I have at H/S/W for another MBA. I'm also taught gmat classes for some time (while working mornings)

Hi there,

H/S/W - no harm in trying if you are interested. But more than just a brand name you need to really think through what is it that you are looking for. There is no guarantee whether you will get admitted to these schools. You may not get into H/S/W but you may still be a solid candidate for top first tier US- schools.
