OG 12

In a survey of 200 college graduates,30 percent said they had received student loans during their college careers, and 40 percent said they have received scholarships.What percent of those surveyed said that they had received neither student loans nor scholarships during their college careers?

1)25 percent of those surveyed said they had received scholarships but no loans.

2)50 percent of those surveyed who said that they had received loans also said they had received scholarships.

Loans = 30% of 200 = 60
Scholarships = 40% of 200 = 80

(1) Scholarships only = 25% of 200 = 50
Both scholarships and loans = 80 - 50 = 30
Loans only = 60 - 30 = 30
Neither student loans nor scholarships = 200 - (30 + 30 + 50) = 90
So, (1) is SUFFICIENT.

(2) Both scholarships and loans = 50% of 60 = 30
Loans only = 60 - 30 = 30
Scholarships only = 80 - 30 = 50
Neither student loans nor scholarships = 200 - (30 + 30 + 50) = 90
So, (2) is SUFFICIENT.

The correct answer is (D).

Where can I find the questions?
Where is "OG12"?

The only "OG" I know... is completely irrelevant (original gangsta) lol.

Thanks
