Advice from Current Columbia Students

by blacksheepmba » Wed May 19, 2010 10:46 am
Hey guys,

If you're as overwhelmed by the b-school admissions process as we were, we're here to help.

We are a small and diverse group of current Columbia MBA's, each with professional experiences in writing, brand strategy, and marketing. Amongst us, we have applied to all the top business schools in the U.S. and Europe. We've learned our lessons, made it to our dream school, and want to help you leverage what we've learned through a long and painful application process. Given our traditional and non-traditional backgrounds (media, publishing, finance, retail, marketing), if you are passionate about getting into the top schools (especially those in NYC - CBS and Stern), we have a lot of tips that are hard-learned.

If you have questions, we are happy to answer (1 per person). Ping us a note.

We'd love to have some real students representing the 'MBA Student Life' area, as Richard suggested!

I think this would be great! How do we get in touch with you to ask questions? Is there a forum or link where we should ask?

Thanks! You can send a pm, leave a message on the forum, email, or check out our blog.

We are looking forward to hearing from you. If you find our advice valuable (for the question you submit), then we can continue the conversation as your MBA strategy advisors/coaches.
