The notepad that they use is like laminate paper and you are given two markers. If you know that this type of set up will throw you off, buy the Veritas laminate paper and marker set. I use it with all of my practice test now and I can say that it now feels like I'm really taking the test each time I use it (and take the test at my office). If you have the money, buying this can only help you. If not, just practice doing problems in pen, so you get used to not erasing.

I'm a lefty. I had marker all over my hand and it didn't work out too well.

Hello,
Another thing to note about the laminated paper is that it has squares on it- or at least the laminated paper in Paris did. The Manhattan GMAT laminated paper also has squares on it so I think this is universal. On the day of the test my laminated paper was white, but the Manhattan paper that I got was yellow. So I guess I have a question as well for people who have taken the test

Was your laminated paper white?
If my post helped you- let me know by pushing the thanks button ;)
