Classical music

by beat_gmat_09 » Sat May 01, 2010 3:15 am
In the results of long-term medical study, babies exposed to Mozart's music from the age of 4 weeks developed into young
adults who were,on average, not only better performing scholastically, but also physically more adept than young adults who had not been exposed to Mozart's music from an early age. Therefore, parents who wish to improve the strength and scholastic performance of their children should expose their infants to classical music from the age of 4 weeks.

Which of the following if true best supports the argument.

A) Children who were exposed to Mozart starting at the age of 8 weeks also exhibited better scholistic performance as young adults.

B) High school students who study music tend to be better at math than those student who do not

C) Long-term medical studies are diffcult to undertake and require large amounts of outside funding.

D) When infants listen to Mozart's music it stimulates their brains and increases the rate of brain cell growth.

E) Babies who listen to classiccal music from composers other than Mozart also tend to develop into young adults with greater strength and better scholaistic performance than other young adults.

Please explain with reasons. OA will follow shortly.

IMO E

The argument concludes that infants must be exposed to classical music. And all the discussion above is pertaining to Mozart's music.

We need to link Mozart's music with classical music. And E does that.

In was stuck on "D" .. was focusing more on Mozarts music.. but the conclusion has stated "Classicla Music",, so the nas should be "E"..
