Apathy

by casbroker » Tue Oct 23, 2007 7:41 am
I have my test on Thursday. I haven't studied nearly as much as anyone on this board but feel that I put in a solid month of study. My weakest area is definitely Sentence Completion. With two more study days left I'm planning on taking the last GMATPrep sample test tonight and doing some very light exercises tomorrow night. I don't see myself improving my weak spot any further from now until Thursday morning.

I'm starting to not care anymore, has anyone else felt this way? I just want the test to be over with.

Yea, it happens all the time!

The important thing to remember is -

When you are done with the test - will you feel the pain of regret for not studying more?

If so, realize that pushing through that apathy, and sacrificing in the short term will lead to those long term goals (i.e. 700+)

Find a way to make studying enjoyable. For me, it's frequenting these forums and reading peoples ideas, and most importantly, their successes. It really keeps me motivated to keep pushing it!

Best of luck to you!

Actually, I think your study plan is good. Just keep a positive attitude and don't let real apathy sink in until you finish the test!!
