MBA Agency

by tahitiboy » Wed Apr 21, 2010 10:03 am
Hi all,

Since it's the first time ever that I shall apply for my MBA program, I don't know what type of essays, the format of CV the schools are actually searching for. Moreover, what interview techniques should I perform?

I also heard there are MBA handling agencies who usually have a high success rate in getting into the business schools. If you fail to get into the business school, they don't usually charge.

Would anyone know any examples of these MBA agencies? Or any suggestions and tips?

Thanks.

I have never heard of an "Agency" that gives you a refund if you aren't accepted. MBA Consultants can help you understand the application process and will work with you so that your applications reflect you in the most positive light possible. Consultants can show you resume/CV templates and examples of strong essays. Consultants will often conduct mock interviews, but, no one can guarantee acceptance.

If an agency did make a claim or guarantee, I would guess that they are steering you to at least one school that is well below your "target" level (so that they can almost "guarantee" your acceptance). Just be careful - there are many reputable consultants out there to help you, but, like with many things, you may get what you pay for.

I would also give you this advice - just be yourself in your essays and interview, and, the form of your CV is less important than the content!!

Good luck!
